Did you know that.

What is capillary chronogram?

The capillary chronogram is a scheme for using products to care for one’s hair, whatever type it may be. It is erroneous to think that this procedure is exclusively dedicated to curly or voluminous hair. Hair, regardless of its shape and nature must be cared for. The goal is to bring three main care factors to the hair, which are hydration, nutrition, and reconstruction. Each stage is interspersed depending on the health of the hair, usually damaged by excessive use of heat (straighteners or hair dryers), chemical procedures, or simply pollution.

Normally this is a procedure that takes 4 to 6 weeks, which is plenty of time to see noticeable results.

Hydration

Moisturizing the hair means storing water in the hair strands along with other nutrients that are lost every day, thus preventing dryness and increasing the overall health of the hair.

Nutrition

Nourishing the hair means storing lipids, which are essential fats normally produced by the sebaceous glands. These are intended to coat the hair, making it more flexible, shiny and with aligned cuticles. Curly and frizzy hair has a tendency to be dry, precisely because the fats produced by the scalp do not reach the ends of the hair because of the curvature of the hair strand.

The capillary nutrition phase is carried out in 3 distinct ways:

– Through the use of a pos mask wash;

– By wetting with vegetable oil before washing;

– by overnight humectation, that is, on uncleaned hair so that the action is carried out while sleeping and the next day shampooing is done.

Humectation is one of the steps of nutrition and is always done through the use of vegetable oils.

Reconstruction

In the presence of broken, fine, porous hair, mainly due to chemical actions, hair reconstruction should also be carried out. This is carried out through the repositioning of proteins in the hair strands, and the one best known is keratin, which is produced by the human body and accounts for 90 percent of the hair constitution.

It is the most delicate and powerful phase of the chronogram and must be done when necessary on damaged and elastic capillary strands, which need to be given the lost capillary mass. This step should be done once a week. In cases of slightly damaged hair, reconstruction is useful to do every two weeks or so.
