Did you know that…shampoo: the differences
Types of shampoos and differences
The shampoo: there are several, and each one-beyond washing the hair-is better suited to a particular situation.
Anti-residue shampoo
It is transparent and deeply acting, with many strong agents and generally high pH to broadly open the cuticle. It is generally used when the hair is “heavy,” lacking shine, with deep-seated dirt or during a hair chronogram of hydration, nutrition, reconstruction and in the presence of chemical treatment. Main purpose is to prepare the hair to deeply absorb the action of the capillary chronogram.
Transparent shampoo
It is a type of shampoo indicated for oily hair. It has less cleaning power than antiresidue; to be less aggressive, its use can be diary, as long as it is used on a hair that needs to lower its natural oiliness, otherwise the risk is unnatural drying of the hair strands.
Pearly shampoo
This type of shampoo is lightweight, with a nonaggressive cleansing action. It is a product that can be used diariamente, with a moisturizing action and is suitable for curly and frizzy hair that has the particularity of being generally dry. It is also a good solution for those who smooth or those who have chemical processing.
Shampoo with higher density
To this category belong treatment shampoos, such as dandruff shampoos, anti-fall shampoos, or products for brittle/broken hair. Because of their moisturizing ability, it is not suitable for those with oily, oily hair.
Sulfate-free shampoo
It is a new category of cleansing products; the action is gentle and normally these shampoos open the cuticle in moderate amounts, so the action of a conditioner or mask is less. It is suitable for the Low Poo technique.
